I am just wondering if this is something that people bother about. Unless clothing is 'fair-trade' then as I understand it, theres no way of knowing if it was made in a sweatshop or not. Most high street shops do not have a transparant supply chain.
I have spoken to people before about this and people often say that they would like to buy British but i am wondering if that means that they actually do it?!
Clothes that are made in the uk are, after all, likely to be more expensive but you know that someone is paid fairly for it and not exploited.
