Make my own clothing? Heck no- I have no time for this. Plus I'd rather just let someone else do it for me.

I can sew though- I make quilts and wall hangings. Just not clothes.

I used to sew a little because my mom loved to sew. She made her own dresses and gowns and pants and draperies. She was very talented. She sewed to relax. She was a member of many organizations, had a part time job and took care of the family but during the weekends she would get out her sewing machine, her table, patterns, and everything else she needed and started to sew.

I learned to sew in high school but anything I ever made just didn`t look right lol. I would love to learn how to do better. I have a friend whose mom could sew beautifully. She made all her granddaughters clothes. She was very good. I guess I would need classes or practice to get better at it.

I can sew a button on, if that is what you are asking. I can do small things, but my mother and grandmother could sew you a whole wardrobe if need be.

I love to sew! To me, it's a stress reliever and a time passer. I lie to sew pretty much anything, from blankets to stuffed animals to clothes. I personally, have sewn stuffed animals and a pair of boxers for myself, among several minor projects. Both the stuffed animals and boxers turned out good, FYI.

I want to sew some things for the kids on my Christmas list this holiday! Talk about save some money...LOL.

I wish. It would be nice and I have been learning some over the last few months.

This is great. She must be really talented. This is the first time I am hearing about having sewing as a hobby. I thought sewing can only be done by professionals.

I think sewing is a great pass time. I use to sew quite a bit in the past; but my time was limited. I do think I will try to pick it up again.
