Thread: Knock Offs

I don't mind purchasing Knock offs of designer hand bags because no one ever asks about my favorite designers, but I have a few friends that might be upset if they knew.

Do you think buying knock offs of extremely expensive handbags is the wrong thing to do? Does it really hurt the industry?.

I don`t think it does. Most of us can`t afford them if they aren`t on sale. Myself? I don`t really care for designer handbags. I like certain purses but not because of who made it. I saw a purse at a yard sale from Sacs. It was a $400 purse that they wanted $80 for. I wouldn`t buy it if it was $5 cause its ugly.

It is funny that no matter how famous or popular designer is, they can still turn out some true trash!

lol Hoy! I'm with you. I love pretty handbags but I wouldn't pay the designer prices for them. I have so many more things to spend my money on.
I love the knock-off purse parties. Ever been to one of them?

I wonder because I have heard designers whine about knock offs taking money from the industry unfairly. I am not really too concerned that they might go out of business but wondering more how others feel about getting a bargain.

I have known women who stopped speaking to friends over knock off purchases!

You serious? Stop talking to a friend because they are saving money and buying a knock-off? Man I would think my friends were crazy if they spent too much money on a "real" designer purse.

I will not pay much for a handbag, so my answer would be yes, I would buy a knock off.
