Thread: Made in USA Jeans?

Guys, I'm 45, and haven't worn jeans in a long time. I'm ready to dive back in. I'm interested in American made product, very un-fancy.

My favorite USA jean is Levi's. They come in mens', women's and kids. I love them because they fit the best and they are great quality. They sell by waist and length measurements. I'm tall- so I need Tall jeans.

jeans don't really have to be made in the US to be of quality. lots of expensive clothing items are made in China and Indonesia.

Yeah, most of the jeans manufactured in the world are being made in China and other Asian countries. Further there are less companies interested in manufacturing jeans in the US because of the cost involved in production. However the quality of such jeans are always in doubt.

when shopping for clothes, even expensive clothes, it would be interesting to look on tags and check to see how many garments have been made in china. Lots!

The U.S. is just not a big clothing manufacturer

There are very few (if any!) jean manufacturers in the US. Levis jeans are as American as apple pie! Levis Strauss shut down most of their manufacturing units in the US between 1980 and 1990. The last Levis plant in the US (San Antonio) shut its doors in early 2004.

Hey everyone. I love levi jeans. I have worn them forever. My hubby likes Wrangler jeans. I am more comfortable in jeans and t shirt than a dress.

With the new styles that Levi is making we all have started buying more of them. They are a classic here in the states.
