Thread: Suit alternatives HELP

Hi

I am about to start a new job in september which is a promotion I have worked really really hard for - I have a dilema I want to still be young (Im not yet 30) fashionable and trendy but professional at the same time - I am not a big fan of suits think they are old looking but as I will be in a management position and possibly attending lots of meetings I really would like to get one or two new outfits - any thoughts what I should be looking at and where I should be looking - I have in mind a raher smart jumpsuit from river island which is £50 but cant run to the dress and pencil skirts I like from Karen Millen. I have a few skirts that I think may be too short for my new role so am not looking for really short things either - Im quite slim and average height so am open to all suggestions just think trend and not old!!
Any ideas???????

I think if you dont want to wear a suit you are definitely going down the right avenue with wearing a skirt. I think a longer shirt is still very smart and sophisticated and can give women extra confidence when dealing with men. (Please dont take this in the wrong way) I also think putting a nice shirt with that is a good look and can be teamed up with a cardigan for the winter
