Many people dont know what bohemian is. They think its lie jamaican, nudists etc. We basically are education junkies and free spirits, freethinkers. We enjoy life and don't follow rules except for the important ones.

I'm american, and I think you have a good philosophy. Being your own individual is important; and after all, we are all members of the human race.

I'm "gothetto", which is a mixture of "gothic" and "ghetto". I am from Baltimore City...and anyone who knows anything about Baltimore, MD can understand just that statement. However, I love to dress in all black, and think that look is ***y.

Gothetto to me, means wearing black jeans but wearing tight black jeans that accentuate my voluptuous curves. It means wearing a black shirt, but a tight black shirt. It means wearing my name on a nameplate necklace, but that SILVER nameplate necklace goes good with my black eyeliner, shirt, pants, and shoes. I am not gothic nor getto, but "gothetto".

My daughter loves the all black look. She does not wear any of the chains or anything that I see so many others wearing though.

I agree with individualism. My daughter comes out with some crazy styles but I let her wear them because they make her what she is. I just laugh at her and shake my head. I would say something of course if it got to be to ***y for an almost 10 year old--she hasn't tried anything like that yet.

I agree with the free spirit and thinking as well. I don't dress that way though- I work in an office- so I dress the part... Business. I'm one that will fit in- or blend in. I don't like to draw attention to myself by the clothes I wear.

My daughter is a brand-name wearer. She likes everything with a brand name on it. I guess I was this way as a child too!
